Founded on Phu Quoc Island, Bittersweet Chocolatier was created with the intention of exploring Vietnam through flavour – transforming locally sourced ingredients, regional identities, and cultural inspirations into thoughtfully crafted chocolate creations. Through a production philosophy rooted in precision, sustainability, and ingredient-driven storytelling, Bittersweet continues to contribute a modern perspective to Vietnam’s growing craft chocolate landscape.
This dedication to responsible craftsmanship and local innovation was recently recognised when Bittersweet was awarded the Champion title at the Green Startup Project Competition 2025, highlighting the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainable growth and value creation within Vietnam’s agricultural and artisanal sectors.
For AHA Connection Day 2026, Bittersweet introduces its Nha Trang Mango Chocolate, a creation inspired by the tropical character and coastal spirit of Nha Trang. Combining the vibrant sweetness of sun-dried mango with the smooth richness of milk chocolate, the product delivers a flavour profile that feels both familiar and refined – balancing fruit-forward brightness with creamy cacao depth.
The experience extends beyond taste alone. The packaging design draws inspiration from the region’s Champa heritage, incorporating visual elements that reflect the cultural and architectural identity long associated with Central Vietnam’s coastal landscape. Through both flavour and presentation, the creation becomes a sensory interpretation of place – capturing the warmth, colour, and atmosphere of Nha Trang in chocolate form.
As Bittersweet continues its journey within Vietnam’s craft chocolate scene, collaborations such as AHA Connection Day 2026 remain meaningful opportunities to celebrate local ingredients, artisanal craftsmanship, and the shared experiences that bring people together around the table.
