Our journey

On my Vespa in 2018, I decided to ride along the Mekong River to embark on the chocolate journey. By visiting renowned cocoa-growing regions in the Mekong Delta, I was fell in love by conversations with farmers and the chocolate production process.

We understood that with Vietnam’s premium cocoa beans, combined with creative ingredients, it would undoubtedly create a flavor like never before.

And now, I continue this sweet journey with my team: Present the first chocolates made in Phu Quoc island by the bartenders

Our Ingredient

Việt Nam stands out as one of the most suitable regions globally for cultivating cacao, thanks to its favorable climate and fertile soil. Grown on lush alluvial soil or nutrient-rich basaltic red soil, the cocoa here boasts a distinctive fruity flavor.

Cacao plants are often intercropped under the shade of coconut trees, enhancing the unique taste profile. The primary harvest periods occur in April-May and October-November.

Seeds are meticulously researched and developed in Vietnam to align with the diverse soil and climate conditions, ensuring optimal suitability.

Our collaborations

Chocolate Pairing events are an invitation to experience the magic of Vietnamese chocolate in a whole new light. They’re a testament to Bittersweet’s commitment to quality, collaboration, and showcasing the very best that Vietnam has to offer. We believe in building strong connections with the land and the people who cultivate the finest cocoa beans. That’s why we’re thrilled to be collaborating with esteemed hotels and resorts in Phu Quoc to host a series of special Chocolate Pairing Events.
